South Lanarkshire ICG Vehicle (Sep, 2009)
|
|
| |
South Lanarkshire requested that we refurbish one of their existing display vehicles for them to use during the International Children's Games in 2011.
A refit of the internal sections of the vehicle was required in the form of a new seating arrangement, kitchen area and floor covering to the customer's specification.
A Generator was installed to power lighting and customer supplied equipment. A microwave and sink with hot water facilities were also fitted.
Customer feedback was as follows: -
"We're getting good feedback on the bus – it hasn't done much more than cruise the streets of Lanarkshire at the mo but it's definitely got the wow factor!
Many thanks again for all your hard work on it."

Fife Police - Revolution Bus (Aug, 2009)
|
|
| |
Fife Police have just taken delivery of their revolution bus to go into service in the Glenrothes area. This Vehicle started out as a driver training single decker bus.
Our remit was to install 4 Playstations and a large 50 inch LCD TV for presentations and also this would be used in conjunction with a Wii for youth gaming. A hand wash and cool box have also been installed.
Discussions took place with the client over the colours and materials to be used within the vehicle, and the vehicle arrived to us painted Black. The project was completed in an acceptable timescale to the customer.
On board is a shared network to join the 4 Playstations together and also to make the vehicle a training centre. A large seating area has been installed at the rear of the vehicle for youth interaction and to also act as a focal / meeting point.
Once the interior build was complete, the customer was so pleased with the result that they managed to secure extra funding to get the exterior of the vehicle refurbished and painted in a much more impressive colour to complement the interior. The customer will be re applying the revolution graphics onto the vehicle ready for service in the coming weeks.
This vehicle with be a great asset to them and will certainly catch the attention of the general public on its rounds. There could be a possibility of further vehicles for other area's within the Kingdom of Fife to complement this vehicle if funding can be secured.
Customer comments: -
"Bus was launched today and went down a storm, Fife Fire and Rescue look like they will be back in touch with you soon as they were very impressed with your work and quality of finish (as we all are)."
