Cambridgeshire Waste Awareness Vehicle (Oct, 2009)

| |
Cambridgeshire county council waste awareness section tendered for a copy of their existing Vehicle built by Keillor Coachbuilders in early 2008. We won this contract and progressed the build program by collecting the existing schools library base vehicle from the customer in the south of England and transporting it up to our facility in Arbroath, Scotland.
Internally the vehicle was stripped of all its existing furniture and all the external windows were closed off and made good. A complete new aluminium framework was constructed then constructed to house seating, display boards and overhead lockers required internally. The interior then had a coat of dark blue paint to the customer’s specification prior to internal fit out. Fibre optic lights were one of the featured items within the roof void along with LED down lighters and large display boards along each side.
The vehicle had to have a complete external respray to the corporate colours and to match their existing vehicle and Keillor worked closely with the client to achieve the desired affect.
