Click to enlargeA partnership between the Church of Scotland the Grampian police youth community section, this Leyland Olympian double deck Bus has undergone a major conversion from a standard double decker to this very attractive mobile youth centre.

Click to enlargeThe latest computer games with interaction between players to add to the fun of the centre, onboard music centre with external speakers to blow you away, just what our youth of today enjoy.

The upperdeck has a one to one snug discussion area screened from the rest, with the main area having a large flat screen TV with interconnection to video and music centre, bean bag seating scattered over the floor along with couch seating for open discussion work.

The external awning and lighting provides addition cover for activities out with the centre, access ramps allows access for wheel chair bound to join in the fun.

The external livery was created from idea taken from the young steering group who have been involved with the project from its conception over a year ago.

Essex Wheels Training

Essex County Council have just commissioned a second travelling Community Vehicle.

This compact Vehicle based on the Iveco Ford Daily 45C13 with a wheel base of 3950mm and high top roof has achieved quite a lot with in such such a small body space, with carbon monoblock auxiliary battery pack and 2.5kw inverter powering plasma screen presenter and double deck disc sound system.

Catering facilities provides the necessary comfort for the community leader and the youth of Essex

Wheel chair access and generous internal seating area also external awning creates a centre hub of activity.

Click to enlargeEssex County Council launched this fleet of Mobile Community Youth Centres on the 1st November - National Youth Day.

These Mobiles are based on the Isuzu 7.5 tonne G.V.W. chassis with a overall length of 8.5mt.

On board there are catering facilities, computer play stations and work stations with connection to the internet, double deck sound centre, discussion area with information, literature and display boards, LCD TV with video presenter and DVD.

There is an awning on the side for external activities, making the vehicle a all year round working centre.

We wish the team at Essex great success with these vehicles in the future.

National Health & Safety Laboratory

This mobile is the first in this field providing on site hearing tests with the Audiometric booth.

This mobile is self contained and will provide hearing test to staff members in the work place, addressing a very important health a and safety issue for employees and employers alike.

In additions to the test hard wear on board we have access lifts, catering facility, IT work stations and general information display.

Power is provided by means of a onboard battery pack and land line to a mains source.

The external livery was designed by our graphic department from a brief received from the client.

  Fife County Council Mobile Museum

 
  This MEGA 12m long and 4m high Mobile Museum is based on the 14 tonne Iveco Euro Cargo with extended wheelbase and all round air suspension.

  Click to enlarge Major battery packs provide the power base through 5kw invertors with a generator and mains land link as a back up and to recharge the batteries. Full air conditioning with additional Eberspacher heaters for the depth of winter.

Track and spot internal lighting with dimmer facility to change the mode of the exhibition.

Dundee Airport

This specially designed vehicle based on the Iveco Daily chassis is used by the catering section serving the daily flights in and out of our local Dundee Airport.

There are onboard storage compartments for the catering trolleys and general storage. The main design future is the bridging loading gantry which slides in all directions to bridge the gap between the vehicle and the plane, allowing safe loading of the trolleys to and from the plane.

We believe this is the first of it type in the UK and are hoping for future orders for other small regional airports.

City of Edinburgh Housing Vehicle

This refurbished twelve-year-old original Keillor built mobile library has been transformed into an attractive information centre for the council tenants of Edinburgh City.

Internal features include a plasma screen with video and DVD connection, self-help computer terminal and visual displays of various housing elements along with information panels.

The external livery is eye catching and provides a mobile message board.

Tsunami Disaster Appeal Project

Keillor Coachbuilders Limited working in conjunction with the Dundee Tsunami Appeal Fund has provided this mobile clinic. Based on a Volvo FL6 18 tonne GVW with overall dimensions of - length 11m, width 2.5m and a working inside height of 2.4m.

This vehicle is destined for The Centre for Health Care in Sri Lanka and will be fully operational by the end of May 2005.

The specially designed body has three separate consulting areas including a dental surgery.

There are external awning flaps with side screens to provide additional space in health education and antenatal care.

There is a draw bar trailer with the vehicle carrying two generators providing all the power necessary for the lighting, air conditioning and equipment power required.

The staff and workforce at Keillor's have provided all the labour free of charge to build this vehicle, and our suppliers have also supported this project.

The City of Edinburgh Play Development Unit

Based on an Alexander built double decker service bus first registered in the early nineties, this vehicle replaces the existing one we supplied ten years ago.

The conversion comes complete with Fischer Panda 8kW quiet running generator which powers the air conditioning, feature lighting, power points throughout and the kitchen area.

The lower deck has wet and dry play areas, rear storage and fully equipped toilet with hot and cold water.

On the upper deck, the main activity area has seating for parents and a soft play area for the very young.

A kitchen area at the front of the upper deck is fully equipped with hot and cold water, microwave, storage cupboards and a generous work surface.

The external livery with the OCT2BUS theme cathes the attention through busy Edinburgh!

AC YULE - Glass Carrying Vehicle

This Iveco Cargo 12 tonne GVW Glass Carrying Vehicle is an addition to our specialist vehicle bodywork range.

The bodywork has an external glass rack, spring loaded retainer poles to secure the load, with fold-up support ledge when not in use.

The roof is a nyloflex one piece sheet secured to a sliding roof frame giving eighty percent of clear open roof loading when fully open.

Internal racking gives maximum loading capacity, again with easy location retainer poles to secure the load.

We believe there is demand for another quality builder of Glass Carrying Vehicles, and Keillor will be looking to capture a share of the market.

Aberdeen Mobile Information & Rent Collection Vehicle

Based on the Iveco 75E/17 Cargo.

This specially designed vehicle provides a secure area for staff with full banking facility, and also a waiting area for the general public.


The front area is fully fitted with catering facilities and a toilet. Staff comfort is assured with air conditioning throughout.

Stratton Medical Centre - Bute, Cornwall

A mobile doctor's surgery based on our Alto Compact Isuzu 7.5 tonne N.Q.R. Chassis.


This facility has an on-board generator and battery pack with wheelchair access, air conditioning and sound system to create a very pleasant environment.


This doctor's surgery is fully equipped with IT link to base, hot and cold water, couch and seating area. Waiting area has information on display and receptionist to answer questions.

North Lanarkshire Council

Mobile occupational therapy unit based on the DAF LF 45 7.5 tonne chassis cab with the Keillor Coach Front incorporating driver and passenger doors.

This conversion provides a complete walk-through facility from mobile to cab with no restrictions.

This mobile is designed to provide all the household equipment that client's need to retrain on, in situ or as a display.

This vehicle provides a back up to local hospital facilities

This unit provides police presence in rural areas and inner city housing areas.
